Oberoi Realty now stands at No 2 in the Indian Realty division

As per the sources available to www.propertykhazana.com, Mumbai –based Oberoi Real Estate Firm has whistled the Unitech Company to become the country’s 2nd biggest realty company after DLF in terms of market capitalization. Oberoi Real Estate’s market limit now stands at the arte of Rs. 7,372.12 Crores which is more than Unitech’s rate which is estimated Rs. 7,149.92 Crores. As DLF had preserved its place as the country’s most esteemed company with a market value of Rs. 39,444 Crores and Unitech has vanished and given the 2nd place to Oberoi Real Estate Firm. Even the DLF listing in July 2007 stated it has the country’s largest realty firm in terms of market value, as Unitech had been the 2nd largest. Still, a mauling of share value in current months has also battered its market value considerably. Its share values has dropped to Rs. 27.35 for a piece which is lesser than 1/3rd of its rate at Rs. 97.45 in pervious year.
After increasing Rs. 1,028 Crores during the Initial Public Offer (IPO) Oberoi got its schedule on Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) at Rs. 280 and its share are at the current trading at the rate of Rs. 224.60. Unitech shares are dropped down by almost 72% in pervious one year, as the Oberoi Real Estate has lost about 20%. The share cost of the market leader DLF has been dropped by 40% in the past one year. Unitech, DLF and Oberoi Realty are chased by Godrej Properties with value of Rs. 4,727 Crores and HDIL by Rs. 4,158 Crores in the terms of market capitalization. In the terms of final profits, Unitech has been ranked highest than Oberoi and in the financial year which ended in March 31st 2011 Unitech has clocked revenue of Rs. 3,000 Crores against Rs. 1,000 Crores of Oberoi Realty and DLF has placed profits for more than Rs. 9,000 Crores in the same year.
