Puducherry, May 13 (PTI) Ruling Congress won the Mahe
Assembly constituency in the Union Territory of Puducherry
with Health Minister E Valsraj retaining the seat today.

appears set to sweep West Bengal, AIADMK-led coalition looks
well ahead in Tamil Nadu, while there is a close contest
between ruling LDF and UDF in Kerala in the counting of votes
in the assembly elections in four states that began today.

and senior Congress leader S C Jamir today lost the Aonglenden
Assembly bypoll to ruling Naga People's Front (NPF) candidate
Toshikopba Longkumer by over 1,300 votes.
